I am writing to thank you and your brother for your assistance and service to my wife and me regarding the recent purchase of our 2001 Saab. The Christmas season is hectic for everyone which explains why this note is late but, nonetheless, sincere. The used car business in the Ottawa area is very competitive and demanding. We looked for a good second-hand vehicle for quite some time before settling on the Saab and your dealership. We knew little about the vehicle but learned quickly to trust your judgment. We're very happy and excited about our purchase, much of which is based on your straight-forward and honest approach in dealing with our needs. For us, the Saab is probably the last vehicle we will drive because of our age. It is exceedingly safe and reliable, two features that you suggested we check out independently. We're happy to confirm your assessment of the vehicle and we really want to thank you for your understanding of our needs.My wife and I wish you and your brother every success in your business venture, especially because of the integrity and personability you bring to your industry. Just a couple of words in appreciation of our recent Saab transaction. Having been in the industry in the past, I am a tough crowd, but am very satisfied with the service I have received thus far. Keep up the good work!
First off, the car is great. We remain very impressed with the drive and condition of the car, but you can't take much credit for that....you didn't build it, only sourced it ;-) But seriously, finding such a beautiful car with such low kms for a competitive price is hard to do. As we discussed, I shopped between Ottawa, Toronto, and as far as London to find this vehicle. It was a relief to find it locally and support a neighbourhood dealership.
Also, the transaction was easy, no pressure and all of the milestone dates were hit (cleanup, safety, delivery etc) despite the added complexity of the Quebec licensing. I have seen this hold up the process before, but you pulled it off. Kudos.
Thirdly, the Thank You card was a nice touch, and Kerry was impressed. Follow up service and contact is important, as no one wants to feel like another 'Unit'.
Keep it up, I expect to stay in touch as I refer people to your establishment.

Buying a used car is not normally a fun project, often filled with horror stories, and anything but joy...Not so when buying from Bridgeport Motors!
As you well know, we experienced an unexpected incident with a leaky gas tank, that no one could have anticipated under the circumstances. No problem - Rob to the rescue! Tank is fixed, car is on the road - everything is great! I will often repeat this story in my travels, and will heartily recommend you to anyone & everyone who will listen. Thanks for the great car, and wonderful experience (and the Thank You card was a nice touch also!)

Yes it rides like a dream! We are a Bridgeport Motors two car family. I would like to thank you in finding and securing a great deal on our latest purchase - a 2003 Nissan 350Z. I could not believe the price considering it took you all of 15 minutes to find the Z (right colour and right interior), and I had been in discussion with a local dealer for over a week!
The bottom line is, I have highly recommended you and Lou to my friends. If any of your customers wants to talk to one of your satisfied customers, give them my number.
A quick note of thanks for the hard work and successful conclusion to the search for my new (to me) 2000 Acura 1.6 EL. Although the list I gave you of items I was looking for in a car was long, you managed to find exactly the car I was after, right down to the colour - and for less cost than I had allowed. Your no pressure approach, and non-judgmental way of dealing with customers was very much appreciated, and will no doubt serve your company well over the years. Whenever I spoke with you (or your brother), I always felt that I was the only customer you were dealing with that day, and that my concerns were of utmost importance. Many people I speak to cringe at the thought of buying a new or used car because so many companies are simply after the 'quick sell', and lose sight of the long-term implications. Throughout my experience with Bridgeport Motors, I always felt that I was getting a straightforward, honest answer to my questions. Many automotive dealerships could learn from Bridgeport's approach.

I just wanted to thank Rob for his incredible work at finding "the needle in a haystack". A friend recommended Bridgeport Motors for their friendly and honest service. He knew I was looking for a new 2004 Mazda RX-8 with very specific colour and option requirements, and said "Call Rob, he can find anything". Since all of the local dealers had sold their allotments, and couldn't provide a car until January, I figured I had nothing to lose. When I first spoke to Rob, I wished him good luck finding this car, but he was very friendly and said he would see what he could find. The next day came a call saying "you're right, these cars are not easy to come across - but I'm still looking". Less than 24 hours later came another call: "I've found your car". Considering that this car was one of probably 10 similarly equipped models shipped to Canada - and every dealer I contacted had sold all of their cars - this was amazing. Only a couple of days later, and I was driving (and loving it!) my new baby. All I can say is that if you have specific wants, and wish to avoid the typical games that many dealers play, then call Rob or Lou. I have purchased a lot of vehicles over the years, and I have only once before encountered such professional service, but never as friendly, open and honest.
